Splunk Enterprise Transformation with Azure is meant to help agencies collect, store and analyze large volumes of structured and unstructured data to detect security threats and generate insights from data to speed up the delivery of new services.

Google Cloud and SpaceX have teamed up to enable public sector agencies, companies and other organizations to deliver data, applications and cloud services to their teams that are operating at the network edge. SpaceX will establish Starlink ground stations within Google’s data centers to facilitate the delivery of data and applications to any location using Google Cloud and SpaceX’s constellation of more than 1,500 Starlink satellites as part of the partnership.

John Osborne, chief OpenShift architect for public sector at Red Hat, wrote in an article that adopting cloud-native security platforms could help agency developers secure the development of containerized applications. Osborne said the open source community is creating and introducing new tools that could provide visibility into containerized applications, “perform deep scans to detect trojans, viruses and malware contained within the images” and improve runtime security through the identification of possible behavior changes and anomalies.
